THE CONCEPT
CareA is build up for a community. The concept is to upcycle waste from gastronomy and build a consumer oriented circuilar watersystem for
plants out of it, with simple methods.
The idea is to reclaim old collective knowledge and set up a kind of medicine chest at home, in a shared flat or in a community. All materials are recycled or reused. The 3D printed parts can simply be downloaded here, tried out, improved and shared with a community. The Filament I used is also recycled PLA, I recommend to use recycled one.
CareA should be a starting point for a circulating system in one's own household. The system is in mutual care, the user takes care of the cycle by maintaining the water cycle and producing the nutrient solution through Bokashi or fermentation of urine. The plants produced provide the user with important nutrients and, in case of discomfort, a natural solution. Of course, the system does not replace a doctor, it only covers general care. The focus is on caring for oneself and nature in symbiosis.
